I got so excited seeing all the members of the Collective and some others from the og series。 I can’t wait to see which Puckboy gets his happily ever after next! *I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review。 All opinions are my own。* 。。。more

This entire series centers around the PR nightmares of the Queer Collective (the found family group of lgbtq men in the NHL)。 We know the more settled members from Eden's Fake Boyfriend series and Eden/Saxon's CU Hockey series, but now we're meeting the guys who are making the headlines for all the wrong reasons。Oskar is an unapologetic f**kboy with an exhibition kink。 Lane is the team's PR director who has had to step in and "handle" Oskar himself after all of his staff has failed。It took me a This entire series centers around the PR nightmares of the Queer Collective (the found family group of lgbtq men in the NHL)。 We know the more settled members from Eden's Fake Boyfriend series and Eden/Saxon's CU Hockey series, but now we're meeting the guys who are making the headlines for all the wrong reasons。Oskar is an unapologetic f**kboy with an exhibition kink。 Lane is the team's PR director who has had to step in and "handle" Oskar himself after all of his staff has failed。It took me a bit to warm up to Oskar (he's a lot - bratty, selfish, arrogant, difficult, you get the idea), but once he opens up and shows a little vulnerability, I really came to like him。 He's still a lot, but much more of a person than the caricature he portrays early on。 I liked Lane from the very start, just wish we'd gotten to know a bit more about him。 I loved that, unlike everyone else, he made the effort to try and KNOW Oskar, and that he found creative ways to give Oskar what he needed and helped him break out of his somewhat self-centered little bubble。Like the first two books in this series, this one really brings the spice。 Also like the first two books though, there's lots of humor and a bit of emotion to balance it all out。 Both of these authors are go-tos for me when I need a lighthearted, low-angst, escape read, and this one fit the bill perfectly (enough so that I actually did a reread on audio yesterday to try to break me out of a bad book hangover - watch for that review early next week。 Lol)。If you like a super steamy, m/m sports romance with over the top antics and hilarity, this book is for you! 。。。more

I loved being back in the Puckboy world。I read this book in one sitting because I could not put it down。 Oskar is the star player on his hockey team and has a public sex kink。 Lane is the PR manager tasked with keeping him in line。 The road to their HEA was excellent and I loved see the reason for why they were how they are。 Especially Oskar。 There were cameos galore that I totally ate up。 There was humour and steam and the writing was brilliant。 I suspect I know who the next book will be and I I loved being back in the Puckboy world。I read this book in one sitting because I could not put it down。 Oskar is the star player on his hockey team and has a public sex kink。 Lane is the PR manager tasked with keeping him in line。 The road to their HEA was excellent and I loved see the reason for why they were how they are。 Especially Oskar。 There were cameos galore that I totally ate up。 There was humour and steam and the writing was brilliant。 I suspect I know who the next book will be and I cannot wait。 。。。more

Swoon! I absolutely loved Oskar and Lane! Honestly, I want to wrap Oskar up in a big hug and watch him play hockey with Lane。 When we initially met Oskar I knew there was a story behind his antics。 I loved how Lane was able to pull that story out of Oskar。 I loved how Lane was able to find the real Oskar and help him bring down the walls that he showed the world, his teammates, and even The Collective。 I loved the connection that Oskar and Lane shared。 Lane didn’t put up with Oskar’s crap, and O Swoon! Shameless Puckboy is the 3rd book in the Puckboys series by Eden Finley and Saxon James。 The book could be enjoyed as a standalone, however the storyline is best experienced in the order the books were released。 Each book features a different main couple, but you’ll see some spoilers by reading out of order。 Shameless Puckboy features Oskar and Lane as the main duo。 Oskar is member of The Collective, so we were somewhat familiar with his character from the other books。 He is depicted as a goofball manwhore who flies by the seat of his pants and doesn’t care about anything (except hockey)。 He is the lovable jokester who acts as Tripp’s boytoy in an effort to help him overcome his feelings for Dex。 Even though he acts tough and without feelings, we get a sense of how much he cares for his friends by what he tries to do for Tripp。 We are very briefly introduced to Lane in book 2 of the series (Irresponsible Puckboy) as the newly appointed babysitter of Oskar。 As we come to learn in the beginning of Shameless Puckboy, Oskar has gone one step too far in his public (cough cough) relations and needs some serious reno on his image。 After many failed attempts by lower-level employees, Lane is forced to take on the task himself。 As the story progresses, we start to learn a little more about both characters, and see how different they are under the surface。 I particularly enjoyed Oskar’s character growth and how Lane made him comfortable with his true self。 I only wish we would have seen a little more of the pair once they figured their feelings out。 Maybe I’m greedy, but the guys worked so hard to overcome their internal struggles, they deserve to celebrate (and we deserve to read more)。 I love, love, love how an abundance of side characters are used to tell each story。 We get to see some of our long-time favorites and have cross overs from other series。 The first two couples were guaranteed to make an appearance in the new book, but I really enjoyed the snippets from all of the CU boys。 We finally got to see a little piece of what training camp Beck and Jacobs are building, and how each of the guys are going to a play a role in it。 I suspect we will be seeing more of this duo。 Damon is once again saving the day as the GOAT sports manager and I’m seriously hoping we get to see some little scenes with Maddy in future books。 Towards the very end of the book, we get to see the queer collective in their glory saying congrats to old members and welcoming new ones。 Super excited we will be getting to see a little more mention of Asher now that he’s in the majors。 I’m also really looking forward to exploring these new members and watch them find their partners (Aleks, I’m looking at you)。 The storyline is full of plenty of snark, jokes, and of course, a load of steam and tension。 In true Eden & Saxon fashion, the storyline is a fun, lighthearted read with little touches of angst that keeps you coming back for more。 I will definitely be back to visit these characters again in the future and am really looking forward to who comes next。 If you enjoy MM romance, sports romance, friends to lovers, sexual awakening, and steamy times, I definitely recommend you check out the story。 You will not be disappointed。 。。。more

Shameless Puckboy is the third book in the Puckboys series and it's the story of PR disaster Oskar, and the man set on keeping him out of the spotlight, Lane。Oskar has a penchant for getting himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, and his team is getting sick of it。 Enter, Lane, the PR manager of his team, who decides to put his foot down once and for all, and practically ties himself to Oskar so he never has a chance to be alone and get up to no good。 But spending time with him make Shameless Puckboy is the third book in the Puckboys series and it's the story of PR disaster Oskar, and the man set on keeping him out of the spotlight, Lane。Oskar has a penchant for getting himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, and his team is getting sick of it。 Enter, Lane, the PR manager of his team, who decides to put his foot down once and for all, and practically ties himself to Oskar so he never has a chance to be alone and get up to no good。 But spending time with him makes Lane realize that there's more to Oskar than just his shameless, public persona and that the sensitive person inside is one he just might be falling in love with。There were a lot of things I liked about this book, but for some reason I felt like this just wasn't on the same level as the previous two。 But that might also be because I was still in a slight book hangover from reading Football Royalty and hadn't gotten all the way out of that frame of mind before starting this one。 Things I loved includes all the cameos! Oh my god, so many past characters graced these pages, and I was here for it。 Beck and Jacobs, who are among my top 5 couples, Damon who came in clutch towards the end there, and all the other pucking disasters, along with a couple of new additions to the collective who I'm looking forward to reading about!I also really liked the slow peek behind Oskar's walls and how his vulnerability led to a deeper bond between our two MC's。 Oskar is an intricate character, and I loved his various sides and the way we got to see all of them。 While I loved how Lane stood by him and chose to love him above all else, he frustrated me quite a bit in the beginning and I just couldn't get into his character like I could Oskar's。 Overall, this was a good addition to the series and while I would have liked to have been able to connect with the characters more, this was still an enjoyable read, and I can't wait for the next Puckboy's book! 。。。more

Where to start with Oskar。 This man。 He is truly one of my favorite characters that this author duo has written, and let me tell you that is saying A LOT。 Because they write some of my favorites。 Oskar is all about the hookups, and not in private locales。 He likes to be seen, and let everyone know the shenanigans he is taking part in。 His team on the other hand is not a fan。 Not at all。 After plowing through several PR babysitters the head of PR finally steps in。 To say that Oskar loves to push Where to start with Oskar。 This man。 He is truly one of my favorite characters that this author duo has written, and let me tell you that is saying A LOT。 Because they write some of my favorites。 Oskar is all about the hookups, and not in private locales。 He likes to be seen, and let everyone know the shenanigans he is taking part in。 His team on the other hand is not a fan。 Not at all。 After plowing through several PR babysitters the head of PR finally steps in。 To say that Oskar loves to push Lane’s buttons is an understatement。 And I will be honest, it is hilarious。 But it is all fun and games for Oskar until Lane starts to break through his tough exterior and see the real Oskar。 And this man melts。 He of course still has his sass, and perfectly timed comebacks, but he wouldn’t be Oskar if he didn’t!Lane loves for everyone to think he is tough through and through, but Oskar has gotten to him。 Lane is letting Oskar in more and more, and it is uncomfortable。 Lane is stern, and really takes Oskar under his wing。 He works hard to give him what he thinks he needs。 While I adore his character and love how he treats and cares for Oskar, I was hoping throughout the book that Lane had more people on his side。 I should not have feared, as Finley & James gave Lane the people he needed, too。 Together these two light the room on fire, but it really is the quiet way in which they both support one another。 They each need something different that the other is able to effortlessly provide。 Also, I should warn you to clear your reading calendar, you are going to want to dive right back into the CU series and throw in a reread of the previous Puckboy series, too。 The Queer Collective is at their all time best! Ezra…sweet baby Ezra。 Then there is Tripp and Dax…the banter with Oskar is still epic。 But friends, they aren’t even the tippy top of one of the best scenes EVER。 All I can say is “My sex jailer says no。” Once again, this author duo has scored a hat trick with Shameless Puckboy。 If you enjoy some snarky banter, some very hot and steamy somewhat public sexy times this should go onto your Kindle today。 I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the found family this crew of Queer athletes have created for one another。 They build a stable foundation for themselves and work hard to support Queer youth。 To say I am looking forward to more from them is an understatement! 。。。more
Heather Duff,
Blog | Instagram | Twitter | FacebookEden and Saxon can do no wrong。 The Puckboys series is dynamite, and Shameless Puckboy is la creme de la creme!I loved this out-of-control wild child meets responsible and mature babysitter story。 One that proves first impressions may be important but aren’t necessarily the real story of a person。 And sometimes, what you need the most is someone to have faith in you, even if you don’t。Oskar is the ultimate man-child who believes all attention is good attentio Blog | Instagram | Twitter | FacebookEden and Saxon can do no wrong。 The Puckboys series is dynamite, and Shameless Puckboy is la creme de la creme!I loved this out-of-control wild child meets responsible and mature babysitter story。 One that proves first impressions may be important but aren’t necessarily the real story of a person。 And sometimes, what you need the most is someone to have faith in you, even if you don’t。Oskar is the ultimate man-child who believes all attention is good attention, but the NHL team he plays for isn’t convinced that’s true when he ends up in the press for a scandalous incident。 Lane is the head of PR, charged with managing the antics of Oskar。 Which means, he’s now Oskar’s babysitter。 A full-time job if ever there was one。Oskar thinks it’ll be fun messing with Lane, but he has underestimated Lane’s tenacity。 As these two spend A LOT of time together, some personal growth and feelings may happen, in between a lot of antics, sexy times, and some introspection。If you like big fun and big feelings you will also adore this book。 And there are some great cameos from the rest of the Queer Collective! 。。。more

"You might think that this is me choosing you with some naive hope that you could choose me back, but you're wrong。。。You chose me first。"You know when you go into a book thinking you know one of the MCs and it turns out you're completely wrong? Shameless Puckboy is one of those books。 I went in thinking Oskar was exactly what the title states, but he was so much more than that。 He just needed someone to notice that fact and Lane was the first person to accomplish it。 I loved reading the back "You might think that this is me choosing you with some naive hope that you could choose me back, but you're wrong。。。You chose me first。"You know when you go into a book thinking you know one of the MCs and it turns out you're completely wrong? These two set my kindle on fire! 🔥 A bossy Lane is a sexy AF Lane if you ask me。 It was fun catching up with the Collective。 I love seeing all those guys, especially glimpses of the ones who are happily coupled up! There were some surprises thrown in and we also get some new blood which means we have more Puckboys to come people! What could be better than that!? 。。。more
